McLouth’s Dani Lee is set to go down as one of the all-time great softball players in Kansas history.
The Bulldogs had their season come to an end in the regional tournament last week and now it’s time for Dani to take her talents to Liberty University next year.
This season, Dani finished with a .655 batting average with 13 home runs and 74 RBI’s. Inside the circle, she pitched nearly 110 innings going 19-1 with 257 strikeouts and a 0.32 ERA.
Her 18 home runs last season tied a single season state record, her 48 career home runs set a new state record, her 186 career hits is a state record, and her 235 career RBI’s is also a state record.
Dani helped McLouth to back-to-back 2-1A State Championships in 2023 and 2024. She’s a three-time first team all-league selection, two-time first team all-state selection, and a two-time Sports in Kansas Player of the Year.
Over the last four seasons, Dani has helped McLouth to an overall record of 97-7.
