Dohl's Strong Week Has Jackson Heights Girls Ranked Second in Class 2A
Kylie Dohl

Coming off the best season Jackson Heights has seen since 1999 last year going 14-6, the Cobra girls are off to an even better start to the 2018-19 season ranked No. 2 in Class 2A with a record of 7-1.

A big reason to the success of the Jackson Heights girls this year has been the play of junior Kylie Dohl, who delivered two double-digit outings in the Cobras 2-0 week last week.

She opened up the week with a 20-point outing in the Cobras 55-39 win over Valley Falls and followed that up with 11 points in Jackson Heights’ 60-30 win over McLouth.

Dohl is currently averaging near 17 points per game while pulling down 7 rebounds, dishing out 3.5 assists and recording 3 steals per game.

She was a first team all-Northeast Kansas League selection a year ago and has quickly emerged as one of the best players in Northeast Kansas.

Dohl and the Cobras will look to continue their strong start this week, as Jackson Heights is scheduled to travel to St. Marys Friday before competing in the Hiawatha Invitational next week.
