Eighty degree plus temperatures and it was a beautiful Monday for spring sports and golf action four Big Seven League teams meet up at Lake Perry golf course to face off against each other in a league quad.
The Tigers of Jeff West dominated the top performances of the day as they took home four the top five scores on the day, too acount for the best team score on the day of 152. Tigers took down their opponents by 23 strokes topping Santa Fe Trail by that mark who took home second place with a team score of 175.
Tigers top performances on the day was lead by Avery Farrant who shot a 36 to have the best individual round on the day. Farrant's teammate, Mitch Flood followed him in second place after shooting a 38, while Connor Mickens and Aaron Brooks took home fourth and fifth, after each shooting a 39 on the day.
Host school Perry-Lecompton took home third place in the Big Seven quad shooting a team score of 188 on the day as they were followed by Royal Valley who tallied a team score of 205.
The Panthers despite finishing fourth as a team took home the lone top five finish that didn't go to Jeff West as Abe Stewart registered a 39 to grab a third place finish on the day.
Most of the Big Seven League teams will now turn their attention to the League tournament coming up on May 8th at Holton.
