SUNNY 101.3 Friday Football Preview

High School football is back on the air tonight.  On SUNNY 101.3 we will be at Power Field in Humboldt to bring you the Johnson County Central at HTRS game as the Titans celebrate homecoming.
    Johnson County Central is trying to turn the corner on rebuilding their program and with a couple of wins in the bank, they are starting to think about the playoffs according to 2nd year head coach Dustin Buggi. ( play audio  17 seconds )
    For HTRS first year head coach Quentin Coatney it has been a struggle with an 0-5 mark.  16 of the 26 Titans on the roster are freshmen and sophomores.  Coach Coatney says the Titans focus is on getting better every day. ( play audio  :18 seconds )
    It is homecoming for Pawnee City tonight.  The Indians host Johnson-Brock tonight.  Eagles Coach Brett Davis says it will be important for his team to stop the running game.  ( play audio  :23 seconds )
    Pawnee City Coach Mitchell Shepherd’s squad has struggled but appears to be getting better.  Coach Sheppherd says his team expects another tough district battle tonight.  ( play audio  :15 seconds )
    If you like air shows you may want to head to Rock Port or Mound City tonight.  Rock Port will host Nodaway-Holt.  Bluejay Coach Ross Hasstert says the Trojans are not shy about filling the sky with footballs.  ( play audio :23 seconds )
