Holton  Wildcats headed to Topeka on Saturday for volleyball action and took on some stiff competition at the Seaman Invitational.

The Wildcats finished the day with only four games played all in pool play as Holton notched just a 1-4 record on the day. Holton picked up a tough hard fought three set win against Shawnee Mission North taking set one 25-23, but falling in set two 23-25, before coming back with a 25-22 set three win, for their lone win at the Seaman Invitational. Seaman, Silver Lake and Junction City were the there other opponents in pool play for the Wildcats and Holton fell in straight sets each time. Seaman won 30-28, 25-13 over Holton, while Silver Lake won 25-16, 25-15 and Junction City won 25-23, 25-19.

For the Wildcats it was their second tournament action on the year and are now 11-8 on the season as they prepare for non-league action on Monday, September 29th at the KC Christian Triangular.
