2015 Rossville Boys Golf Invite Results - team & individual results (5-5-15)

After competing against each other and with other teams from the Big Seven League in league golf action on Monday both Sabetha and Perry Lecompton boys golf teams teed it up again on Tuesday this time at the Rossville Invitational.

The Sabetha Bluejays finished third out of eight teams in action on the day (seven schools - one with two teams) as the posted a team score of 358, finishing behind Cornerstone and Rossville (first team). Perry Lecompton finished sixth in the team standings with a score of 379.

Reese Lierz led the Bluejays on the day with a seventh place individually after posting a round of 84, while Corbin Halls took 15th place with a 90. Connor Epple and Jonah Montgomery finished out Sabetha's team scoring with rounds of 90 and 94, respectively while Noah Garber and Brendan Rokey each carded a round of 100.

The Perry Lecompton Kaws were led by the third place performance of Jacob Morgison who posted a 80 to take third. Rounds of 97, 99 and 103 finished out the Kaws four-man team score as Cooper Busey, Brett Koehler and Christjen Schmidt notched those rounds. Both Corey Shackelford and Dylan Potter scored rounds of 105 for the Kaws on the day.

The boys golf season continues for next week for both Sabetha and Perry Lecompton at the Big Seven meet on Wednesday May 13th.
