Full 4A Boys Golf Regional results - Abilene Regional & Bonner Springs Regional

Four area schools qualified individual golfers for State in Class 4A as area teams teed it up this past Monday at two different Regionals to try and qualify for State.

The Holton Wildcats competed along with Royal Valley at the Abilene Regional and the Wildcats had a pair of golfer’s card rounds of 84 each to earn a Top five individual performance from non-qualifying teams, thus qualifying for State. AJ Haussler and Bradon Sides finished 11th and 12th, respectively with their rounds of 84 to make State in Class 4A.

At the Pleasanton Regional, Jeff West, Atchison and Perry Lecompton all were in action and all saw an individual golfer qualify for State. Connor Mickens of Jeff West scored a round of 80 to place fourth individually at the Regional, while Gabe Julo of Atchison shot an 82 finishing sixth after winning playoff and Jacob Morgison of Perry Lecompton with his 86 finished ninth all qualifying for the 4A State competition.

The five area golfers will tee it up at State on Tuesday, May 26th in McPherson at the Turkey Creek golf course to wrap up their season.
