The baseball season is in the books for all the Big Seven League teams and after another competitive season the All-League honors have been announced.
It was the Jeff West Tigers claiming the Big Seven League title this year and three players earned first team All-League with two more earning honorable mention honors. Jacob Lawhorn, Grady Middendorf and Jared Ice at pitcher, infield and infield all earned first team honors, while Matthew Hamon and Kennan Bair was named honorable mention at catcher and outfield.
The Perry Lecompton Kaws finished the season 15-6 and had six players earn Big Seven All-League honors this year. Mitchell Bond, Mason Fast and Peyton Kahle were named to first team All-League at pitcher, catcher and utility. Bond also earned honorable mention honors at infield, while Noah Scrimsher and Caleb Daniels each were named honorable mention at infield and outfield, respectively.
Three Holton Wildcats got the nod for first team All-League as Justin Rieschick was the only unanimous selection in baseball for first team, being selected at pitcher, while Luis Butto and Indie Allen both earned All-League at infield and outfield. Rieschick also earned honorable mention All-League at outfield and Brady Mulroy was named honorable mention at utility. The Wildcats finished the season 8-13 on the year.
Nemaha Central Thunder posted a 7-12 record on the season and had a pair of guys earn first team All-League honors as Dalton Hiltbrand and Cody Rottinghaus earned All-League at infield and outfield, respectively. Neil Sudbeck got the nod for honorable mention at pitcher for All-League honors.
Royal Valley, Riverside and ACCHS all had one player earn first team All-League Big Seven baseball honors this year.
For the Panthers, Zack Lux got the first team All-League nod at outfield as Royal Valley finished the year 9-11. Noah Hart earned honorable mention All-League honors for Royal Valley at two positions at both pitcher and infield.
The Riverside Cyclones finished the year 5-13 and had Phoenix Keller earned first team All-League in the infield, while for ACCHS who struggled with a 0-18 mark on the year had Hunter Ostertag grab first team All-League honors at utility.
