After finishing as runner up in Zone tournament play Oskaloosa punched their ticket to the AAA State tournament in McPherson and finished out the season playing two games at State.

In the opening round Oskaloosa squared off against Great Bend and struggled offensively has Great Bend carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning. Oskaloosa broke up the no-hitter in the sixth but was down 7-0 going into the seventh and ultimately suffered the 11-0 loss sending them to the elimination bracket after day one.

On day two Oskaloosa was looking to stave off elimination but fell behind to Emporia and were never able to overcome the deficit. Emporia struck first with a run in the third and added three more in the fifth and lead 4-0 going into the bottom of the seventh when Oskaloosa scored their first run of the State tournament but only managed one run and fell 4-1 to end their State tournament run. Tyler Moison notched three of Oskaloosa's eight hits, while Dalton VanHoutan took the loss on the mound despite pitching well.

The two losses at the AAA State tournament ends the season for Oskaloosa finishing with an 18-19 record on the year.
