It was tee time at Village Greens in Meriden on Monday as the Jeff West girls golf team hosted a tournament with fellow Big Seven League, Holton also competing with five other schools. 

The Tigers put together a solid performance at their home course as they posted a team score of 401 to take third place just two-strokes shy of second and three off of first place, as Spring Hill and Silver Lake finished second and first, respectively. Delaney Holthaus led the Tigers finishing fourth on the day posting a round of 95, while Sydney Schneider earned a seventh place finish after shooting a 98. Olivia Neuenswander and Jordan Biggs rounded out the Tigers four-man team score with rounds of 103 and 105. Miranda Hein and Anna Mooradian also competed for Jeff West registering rounds of 109 and 111, respectively. 

For the Holton Wildcats it was a seventh place team finish with a score of 438, placing ahead of only Rossville as a team. Holton was led by an individual sixth place finish as Quinn Holaday shot a round of 96 to earn sixth place. Faith Holaday, Taylor Smith and Sarah Holaday finished out the Wildcats team score with rounds of 112, 113 and 117. Cali Smith also competed for Holton registering a round of 129.
