For the third time in the last four years the Ottawa University volleyball team won the KCAC tournament championship and are now headed to the NAIA Volleyball National tournament for the third time in school history with a 33-4 record.

Four Northeast Kansas area athletes are a part of the success at Ottawa University for volleyball with three making big impacts at the varsity level and the other playing a role on the junior varsity squad in her first year. A pair of former Holton Wildcats in senior, Christa Hill and junior, Keri Tanking are both playing big roles for the Ottawa Braves this season, along with former Atchison Redmen, Avery Enzbrenner who is a junior, while former Centralia Panther, Liz Hasenkamp is a freshman at Ottawa and playing a key role on the JV team this season.

Both Tanking and Enzbrenner have been strong with the kills for the Braves ranking second and fifth on the team in that category with 321 and 201, respectively helping each of them earn honorable mention All-KCAC honors this season. Tanking also on the season has 51 total blocks and 109 digs, while Enzbrenner has 43 digs and 19 total blocks. Hill has done a little bit of everything for Ottawa with 48 assists, 21 aces, 47 digs and even seven kills on the season.
