Falls City Sacred Heart improved to 11-0 on the season with a 35-18 victory over Linday Holy Family Tuesday afternoon in Lindsay.

In a game affected by strong northerly winds the Irish were able to add to a 14-12 halftime lead and advance to the Class D2 ( 8-Man) semi-final round next Monday. 

Quarterback Lane Scheitel threw a pair of touchdown passes and scored two touchdowns while rushing for 95 yards.  Lane Barnhill ran for 118 yards and a score. Sawyer Kean and Clay Finck each caught 30 yard touchdown passes for Sacred Heart.

Defensively the Irish were led by Jarod Fiegener, Brandon Schawang and Brody Chandler.  Chaz Dunn picked of a pass for the Irish defense which had four takeaways in the game.

Sacred Heart will host Humphrey St. Francis Monday at Jug Brown Stadium in Falls City.
