Sabetha Post 126 Raptors continued their winning streak on Tuesday night stepping out of League play to travel to Falls City and take on the Blue Storm.

Behind a season high 13 hits Sabetha defeated Falls City 11-6 and move to 8-3 on the season and win their fifth game in a row. The Raptors scored six runs in the second to break a 1-1 tie and used that to push themselves to the win. Joe Gruber lead the Sabetha offense with three hits and a pair of RBI's while, Preston Bruning, Brett Stallbaumer & Brayden Becker collected two hits.  Kaid Allen added three RBI's on the night.

Bryce Kramer picked up his first career Legion win by pitching the first three and two-thirds innings allowing just two unearned runs, while Kyle Grimm came on in the fourth with two outs and the bases loaded and was able to coax a ground out.  Grimm pitched 2.1 innings allowing only a single run before departing after completion of the sixth inning.  In the seventh after Falls City managed to work the bases loaded, Dustin Gruber was able to extinguish any further damage.

The Northeast Kansas League legion baseball rolls along on Wednesday, June 8th with a full slate of League double headers. Sabetha hosts Corning with the 6:00pm game on 103.9 KNZA, while the rest of the League action Wednesday includes Doniphan County at Oskaloosa, Seneca at Silver Lake and Atchison at Leavenworth.
