The fall sports season is in full swing and almost a full month in the books and now schools have learned what Classification they will compete in for the 2016-17 year in sports as KSHSAA has released the Classifications for the school year.
The area schools are relatively unaffected by the release of the classifications for 2016-17 as only one area school will be changing classification as Horton returns to Class 3A this year, after falling down to 2A. A total of 22 schools changed classifications this year.
