The Twin Valley League continues to prove it's one of the best and most competitive no matter the sport as the Blue Valley-Randolph Rams step outside of the League and win the Wakefield volleyball Invitational. 

Rams who had a strong start to the season with three TVL wins moved three games over .500 after a 5-0 weekend winning the Wakefield Invitational. Three of the five wins on the day came in straight sets for Blue Valley as they beat Peabody-Burns (25-11, 25-18), the host Wakefield (25-15, 25-13) and St. Xavier (25-8, 25-9). The other two wins came against Bennington (15-25, 25-16, 25-16) and Elyria Christian (18-25, 25-20, 25-8) both in three straight sets. 

The five wins moved Blue Valley to 11-8 on the season. Rams now get back to TVL action on Tuesday when they travel to Washington County.
