Facing the same opponent for the second time in three days can cause challenges for either team.  While it did pose some different challenges for the Peru State College (PSC) Bobcat women's basketball team, they were able to prevail and defeat Midland University (MU) 90-75 for their second straight win over the Warriors.

With the win, PSC improved to 3-1 on the year while Midland fell to 3-2.

Five Bobcats finished in double figures in scoring. Ayana Smith led Peru State with 16 points and had a double double as she seized ten steals. Jasmine Tate had a season-high 15 points and had five rebounds.

Also finishing with a double double was Adaugo Osuala as she had 12 points and ten rebounds.  Andrews and Natasha Moss (Indianapolis) added 12 and ten points respectively.

The Bobcats hit the road for the weekend and are headed south to Fort Worth, Texas, to face Texas Wesleyan University on Friday at 5 p.m.  Then, the bus will head back north as PSC will play Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City on Saturday at 5 p.m.
