Marysville Competes at Concordia Track Invite

Track season continued for the Marysville Bulldogs on Friday as they competed at the Concordia Invite. The Bulldog girls finished sixth as a team, while the boys posted a 

Leading the way for Marysville at the competition in Concordia was the performance of Avery Williams who registered the only event win for the Bulldogs posting a time of 51.82 to take the gold in the 300 meter hurdles, while notching two other Top three finishes. Williams grabbed second place in the 100 meter hurdles and third in the long jump. Grace Stohs nabbed three Top four finishes for Marysville finishing second in the pole vault and fourth place in both the 100 and 200 meter dashes. Three other Top five finishes were garnered by Marysville girl's competitors as Nicole Franco earned second place in the high jump, while Sami Bartels placed fifth in the 800 meter run and the 4x100 meter relay team also took fifth place. 

On the boys side of competition Marysville was led by Matt Lindhorst who had a pair of third place performances in the 200 meter dash and pole vault, while Adam Lindhorst also finished third in the discus. Both Ethan Craig and Bryson Meinhardt nabbed fourth place finishes coming in the 110 meter hurdles and javelin, respectively.

Marysville is set to continue the track season on Tuesday, April 11th at the Smith Center Invitational.
