Hiawatha boys tennis put together some strong performances last Friday at the Lafayette Invitational, while Atchison was also in action in what was a six school tournament.
For the Hiawatha Red Hawks it was 5-0 performnaces on the courts that lead the way as Joseph Kunkel and Kyle Tollefson won the Singles "A" and "B" competitions, respectively each earning first place. In doubles competition the team of Justice Nez and Brennon Barnes picked up one win the "B" competition, while the tandem of Dillon Koenig and Seth Baurlee also snagged a win in the "A" competition.
Atchison has was led by the team of Bruce Dolenz and Cameron Fridell who competed in Doubles "B" earning a pair of wins. While, Mason Oswalt in action in Singles "A" competition and in doubles action the team of Nathan Stone and Jay Strieby competed in Doubles "A."
