The Kansas City-Atchison league released it's all-league baseball team for the 2017 season Thursday and the Atchison Redmen had four players earn first team honors while also having the Player of the Year.
Senior Adam Smith was named the leagues Player of the Year, after hitting .491 with 17 RBI's and three home runs. Smith was also stellar on the mound this season for the Redmen, posting a 5-1 record with a 1.56 ERA.
He was joined on the first team by seniors Austin Bonnel and Hunter Wahwahsuck, along with junior Matt Schrick.
