The Jeff West girl’s golf team has teed off on the season and put together some early season strong performances. 

A pair of second place team finishes had started the season for the Tigers as they hosted tournament action back on August 31st and took second at the Jeff West Open posting a team score of 192 taking second out of nine teams. Sydney Schneider led the Tigers in the action finishing second individually shooting a 40, while Tyla Brown and Maddie Michaelis each carded a 50 on the day placing seventh and tenth, respectively. While, Mollie Williams and Lily Yager were both also in action and posted rounds of 52 each to place 14th and 15th. 

On Tuesday, September 5th the Tigers teed up at the Seaman Quad and earned second place with a team score of 433 competing against Seaman, Silver Lake and Shawnee Heights. Schneider again led Jeff West carding a 93 to place second individually, while Brown finished eighth with a 108 on the day. Michaelis and Yager were both in action also for the Tigers notching rounds of 112 and 120, respectively. 

Jeff West varsity will be in action next to continue their golf season at the Osage City Invite on Thursday, September 14th.
