Six area teams continued their volleyball seasons against each on Saturday as Frankfort played host to fellow Twin Valley League teams Doniphan West, Washington County, Wetmore and Onaga along with Northeast Kansas League team, Jackson Heights. 

On the day it was Washington County leading the performances to win the Frankfort Invitational after going 5-0 in round robin action on the volleyball court. The Tigers won all their matchups in straight sets. 

Jackson Heights Cobras earned second place with a 4-1 record with only loss to Washington County. Three of the Cobras wins came in straight sets while they needed three sets to get the better of Wetmore. 

A 3-2 performance earned the host Frankfort Wildcats a third place finish on the day as they picked up straight set wins over Onaga, Doniphan West and Wetmore. Wetmore went 2-3 earning wins in straight sets over Onaga and Doniphan West placing fourth. While Doniphan West beat Onaga in three sets to finish 1-4 placing fifth and Onaga went 0-5 in the action.
