Five Twin Valley League volleyball teams continued their volleyball seasons on Saturday as Axtell played host to volleyball tournament action and the Valley Heights Mustangs would take the tournament title. 

The action started off with pool play. In one pool it was Falls City Sacred Heart finishing 3-0 with a three set win over host Axtell and straight set wins over Wetmore and Frankfort. Axtell took second in the pool beating Frankfort in three sets and Wetmore in straight sets to go 2-1 in pool play. Frankfort earned a win over Wetmore in straight sets in the other pool play matchup. 

In the other pool it was Valley Heights going 3-0 to win the pool beating Linn in three sets and straight set wins over Lourdes Central Catholic and Diller-Odell. Diller-Odell took second in the pool going 2-1 beating Linn and Lourdes in straight sets, while Lourdes topped Linn in the other pool play matchup. 

Consolation bracket saw Linn beat Frankfort in three sets and Lourdes top Wetmore in straight sets. Then in the fifth place match Lourdes earned the win over Linn in three sets and Frankfort posted a straight set win over Wetmore in the seventh place match. 

The Championship bracket saw Valley Heights take on Axtell and Diller-Odell face off with Falls City Sacred Heart in the Semifinals. Valley Heights and Diller-Odell each won in straight sets setting up a contest with each other and the Mustangs took the Championship with an unbeaten day topping Diller-Odell in straight sets. 

The host Axtell took third with a straight set win over Falls City Sacred Heart in the third place match.
