2017 Volleyball Sub-State Assignments - click here (Saturday October 21st)

The high school volleyball season has been full of great action all season especially in Northeast Kansas and with October approaching KSHSAA has released the 2017 volleyball Sub-State assignments.

This year 11 Sub-State's from 4A-DI to 1A-DII will feature at least one area team. 

Class 4A-DI has Atchison playing host to Basehor-Linwood, KC-Piper and Tonganoxie. While in 4A-DII Holton will host Sub-State and the Wildcats will welcome new 4A member Marysville, along with Chapman and Rock Creek. Jeff West will compete at the Hayden Sub-State along with Bishop Ward and Santa Fe Trail. 

Class 3A will feature three Sub-State's with area teams. Horton will host a Sub-State filled with area teams as Nemaha Central, Sabetha, ACCHS, Maur Hill-Mount Academy, Hiawatha, Riverside and Pleasant Ridge will all be there. Royal Valley will be at the Mission Valley Sub-State, while Mclouth jumps into 3A and joins Perry Lecompton and Oskaloosa at the Wellsville Sub-State. 

Two Sub-State's will feature area teams in Clas 2A as Valley Heights will compete at Salina-Sacred Heart and both Jackson Heights and Jefferson County North will be competing at  Burlingame. 

Class 1A-DI will have a pair of Sub-State's with area teams hosting the action. Defending State champions, Centralia will host Doniphan West, Frankfort, Onaga, Troy and new 1A team Valley Falls. Clifton-Clyde is set to host the other 1A-DI Sub-State with Hanover and Washington County along with three other teams. 

The defending 1A-DII champs in Axtell will host Sub-State action and host the rest of the area 1A-DII teams in Linn, Wetmore, Blue Valley-Randolph with two other schools also involved.
