Jefferson County North Chargers stepped outside the area for the final regular season tournament volleyball action of the season on Saturday and put together a 6-0 showing to win the Osawatomie Invitational. 

The Chargers opened the day in pool play action were they topped the competition going 4-0 with all four wins coming in straight sets. Against Uniontown the Chargers earned the 25-17, 25-10 win, while beating the host Osawatomie 25-23, 25-13 and also topping KC Christian 25-17, 25-8. In pool play the toughest test for the Chargers was Veritas Christian who played JCN to a pair of tight sets but the Chargers won 25-21, 25-22. 

In the Semifinals JCN took on Maranatha and earned the 25-19, 25-23 victory to earn a spot in the Championship match. The final match of the day saw the Chargers take on Erie and the contest needed three sets to decide the tournament champion as JCN won 25-17, 18-25, 25-20. 

JCN will wrap up the regular season on Tuesday October 17th at the Mclouth Triangular and then gear up for 2A Sub-State play on Saturday, October 21st.
