4A Cross Country Regional at Lansing results - click here

Four area schools competed at the Class 4A level in Regional cross country action at Lansing on Saturday and two of the four are sending runners to the State competition at Wamego next Saturday, October 28th. 

The Atchison Redmen will have a trio of runners competing at State after their Regional performnaces earned them spots at State. In the girls competition a time of 20:47.67 earned Emily Jaloma a seventh place finish and a spot at State. Her teammate Adalynn Collins finished just outside the Top 10 in 11th place but recored one of the five best times from a non-qualifying team and earned a spot at State. Matthew Sowers is also going to State for Atchison as he recorded a time fo 18:00.90 to place seventh and grab a State bid. 

Marysville Bulldog, Davis Lee raced his way to Wamego also posting a time of 18:03.38 to place eighth in the boys race and earn a trip to State.
