Nebraska High School Football Playoff Pairings

(KLZA)--Several area teams have qualified for playoff action. 

The Eight-Man playoffs, classes D1 and D2 begin Thursday with Eleven-Man playoff action scheduled to begin Friday. 

In Class D2 Falls City Sacred Heart (7-1)  has qualified for an ongoing State Record 31st consecutive season.  The 2nd and fifth ranked Irish will host Parkview Christian (4-4) at 5:00 p.m. Thursday at Jug Brown Stadium.  The game will be broadcast on A.M. 1230, KTNC.

Pawnee City (3-5) will travel to top ranked Bruning-Davenport-Shickley ( BDS) (8-0) for a 6:00 p.m. game Thursday. The game will be played in  Shickley. 

Friend ( 7-1) is a #3 weed and will host Allen (5-3). Exeter-Milligan (3-5) is the 16th seed and will travel to play top-seed Bloomfield (8-0) Thursday.

In Class D1 Johnson-Brock (4-4) is the 11th seed in the East bracket and will travel to Heartlnd (7-1) the #6 seed for a 5:00 p.m. game Thursday. The game will be played in Henderson and can be heard live on SUNNY 101.3. 

Lourdes Central Catholic (5-3) is the 7th seed and will host Neligh – Oakdale (4-4) Thursday at 5:30 p.m. 

Diller-Odell ( 6-2) is the 8th seed and will host #9 seed Plainview (4-4) Thursday.  

Class C-1 playoff action begins Friday.  #11 seed Auburn (8-1) will be traveling to Albion to take on 6th seed Boone Central / Newman Grove in a 7:00 p.m. game.  You can hear the Bulldogs live on A.M. 1230, KTNC Friday evening.
