Nebraska State Cross Country Results

(KLZA)--  Area runners brought home five medals from the Nebraska State Cross Country Meet in Kearney last Friday.

In Class C the Auburn girls team placed 7th with 98 points.
Senior Allie Binder placed 7th in a time of 20:37. 
The team times were:
1      6  Allie Binder SR                                 20:37.90
2     15  Amanda Brown SR                          21:27.78
3     37  Katelyn Koso SR                             22:32.36
4     40  Sierra Jones JR                               22:36.67
5   ( 56) Caitlyn Longfellow-Armstro SR        24:21.68
6   ( 59) Kara Mertes SO                              24:43.12

Syracuse sophomore Ellie Wilkinson placed 2nd in 19:42. 

Falls City sophomore Mazey McCullogh was 43rd overall in 22:03.

In Class D girls competition Johnson County Central placed 12th in an 18 team field. 

Senior, Aleisha McDonald placed 6th in 20:29 and freshman Ashlei McConald was  8th in Class D in 20:37.

3     63  Jordan Rodriquez JR                      24:39.16
4     96  Sarai Ares JR                                 28:26.03

In Class C Boys competition Syracuse senior Lucas Wilkinson placed 7th in 17:43.  Falls City junior Braden Kobza won an 8th place medal, in 17:45.

Auburn junior Seth Zimmerman was 35th overall and his classmate Nathan Wright was 47th overall.
