Thirteen Area Wrestlers Ranked In Latest KWCA Polls

The latest Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association rankings have been released and feature 13 area wrestlers in the polls this week with four new grapplers in the rankings. 

Class 4A which has had Marysville ranked most of the year as a team as the Bulldogs out of the Top 10 this week but a pair of Bulldog wrestlers are in the rankings. Sophomore, Storm Slupianik continues to lead the charge for Marysville as he ranks second again this week at 160lbs, while sophomore, Atreyau Hornbeak jumps into the Top six at fifth at 170lbs this week. 

Two Holton Wildcat wrestlers remain in the polls this week as senior, Kyler Tannahill continues to hold down fourth at 285lbs, while senior, Lawson Henry is up one spot to fifth at 138lbs in Class 4A. 

Nine area wrestlers are ranked in the Class 3-2-1A rankings this week with three new wrestlers in the polls. Sabetha and Riverside both have multiple wrestlers in the polls this week. For the Bluejays, juniors, Cauy Rokey and Elliot Strahm continue to be ranked coming in at fourth and fifth this week at 195lbs and 285lbs, respectively. Rokey moved up one spot in the 195lbs rankings. While freshman, Kaden Dillon breaks into the rankings at sixth at 113lbs for the Bluejays. 

For Riverside senior, Scott Resler is the highest ranked area grappler in Class 3-2-1A coming in again at second this week at 145lbs. While Cyclone sophomore, Luke Horn cracked into the rankings at 138lbs at sixth. 

Royal Valley Panther senior, Dalton Ware continues to be ranked at 120lbs checking in at third this week up one spot at 120lbs. 

Doniphan West Mustang senior, Zeb Speer remains ranked at 160lbs moving down one spot to fifth in the latest rankings.

Oskaloosa senior, Jared Miller also remains ranked this week coming in at sixth again at 182lbs. While Pleasant Ridge Ram junior, Trevor Ragland jumps into the ranks at fourth at 106lbs.
