Behind a 2-3 day in dual action at the Pott County Duals gave the Riverside Cyclone wrestlers a fourth place team finish at the competition. 

The Cyclones earned convincing dual wins over Hayden and Wabaunsee 36-6 and 35-0, respectively, while falling in a tight battle with Burlingame 30-24. The other two losses came to Rock Creek 42-24 and St. Mary's 53-8. 

Derrick Karn put together the best individual performance of the day for Riverside going 5-0 in action at 132lbs. Four of the five wins by Karn came by pinfall in 46 seconds, 1:13, 1:11 and 2:32, while earning the other with a 10-7 decision. 

Scott Resler also finished the day unbeaten wrestling three matches going 3-0 at 138lbs. Resler won by pinfall twice in 1:06 and 3:54, while also winning by technical fall 15-0. 

Dawson Dick (152lbs), Jacob MacKnight (160lbs) and Donovan Duncan (195lbs) all posted 2-2 days on the mats at the Pott County Duals. Dick earned a pair of pinfall wins in 35 seconds and 1:08, while MacKnight won by pinfall in 2:11 and also technical fall 18-3. For Duncan his wins both came via pinfall in 4:00 and 1:46. Kinstin Juhl (145lbs) was also in action of the Cyclones. 

Riverside is set to continue the wrestling season on Thursday, January 25th at the Maysville Duals.
