The 2018 high school volleyball postseason awards continue to roll in with the Kansas City-Atchison League announcing their all-league teams.

The Atchison Lady Red were well-represented as they earned two players on the first team along with holding the Player of the Year and Coach of the Year award winners.

Atchison finished with an overall record of 30-8 and achieved a perfect 10-0 record in league play for the fourth consecutive season. The Lady Red were led on the first team by Winny Harris and Mattie Dougherty. Harris was also named the league’s player of the year, while Dougherty was named to the first team for the third straight season.

Atchison head coach Liz Harris was also named the league’s Coach of the Year, while the senior class finished with a career varsity record of 103-45.
