2019 Washington County Invitational – Results

The 2019 high school golf season opened Tuesday afternoon for area schools at the Washington County Invitational and it was Nemaha Central who came away with the top spot with a four-player team score of 253.

The Thunder also had the top individual finish on the day, as Dalton Schmelzle won the meet shooting an 82. Nemaha Central also had Hunter Feldkamp take fourth with an 87, while Eric Hammes shot 89 to take sixth and Cassidy Corby 10th win a 95.

Frankfort finished second as a team with one player inside of the top 10, as Branden Bussman took second with an 84.

Centralia and Onaga wrapped up top 10 finishers with one each, as the Panthers had Kenton Talley take fifth with an 88 while the Buffaloes saw K.C. Koelzer take eighth with a 92.
