3A Regional Track Results from Royal Valley

Seven area teams competed on Friday at the 3A Regional Track Meet at Royal Valley with tickets to be punched to the State Meet in Wichita. 

We'll start with Hiawatha as the girls were led by Dani Morton who took second place in the 100 meter dash while the 4x800 meter relay team also finished in second place. 

Darcy Lierz finished in fourth place in the 300 meter hurdles while the 4x400 meter relay team also picked up a fourth place finish. 

The Red Hawk boys were led by the 4x400 meter relay team that finished in second place. Camden Bachman would go on to finish in third place in the 3200 meter run. 

The Jefferson West girls were led by Mellany Roenne as she finished first in the triple jump and third in the 300 meter hurdles. Cooper Monson led the Tiger boys with a 10th place finish in the shot put. 

The Perry Lecompton girls were led by Taylor Damme who won the Regional Title in the javelin. The Perry Lecompton boys were led by Kaden Doleman who finished second place in the high jump while Thilo Wuesten finished second in the 400 meter dash. 

Boyd Sollars finished third in the 400 meter dash while the 4x100 meter relay team also finished in third place. 

The Pleasant Ridge girls were led by Autumn Sass who finished fourth place in the 800 meter run while the boys were led by Cole Keller who finished second place in the 200 meter dash and third in the triple jump. 

The Royal Valley girls were led by Samantha Klotz as she finished second place in both the 200 meter dash and long jump. Samantha Neuner picked up a third place finish in the javelin and a fourth place finish in the shot put. 

Quinton Nelson led the Panther boys as he tallied a second place finish in the pole vault while the 4x800 meter relay team also finished in second place. Daniel Coleman took third in the long jump while the 4x400 meter relay team also finished in third place. 

The Sabetha girls were led by Olivia Saner who finished first place in the pole vault while the 4x800 meter relay team also took home a first place finish. Halle Scoby added a third place finish in the discus. 

Tyrese Bishop led the Sabetha boys has he finished in third place in the 800 meter run while the 4x800 meter relay team finished in fourth place. 

Nemaha Central had a great showing as the girls were led by Hailey Nordhus and Cali Honeyman. Nordhus finished first in the 400 meter dash while Honeyman took home a first place finish in the 100 meter hurdles. Also, the 4x400 meter relay team finished in first place. 

Honeyman also finished second place in the 300 meter hurdles while Makenna Sloop finished second in the high jump, and Kylee Sperfslage finished second place in the javelin. 

Madilyn Mosteller finished third place in both the 1600 and 3200 meter runs and Heather Suther finished third in the 200 meter dash. 

The Thunder boys tallied a few second place finishes with John Langill in both the 1600 and 3200 meter runs. Dylan Lortscher in the 110 meter hurdles, Gavin Cain in the triple jump, and Connor Deters in the shot put.
