The Kansas State Wildcats are the 2022 Big 12 Champions.

The Cats took care of business in Arlington on Saturday and walked off TCU 31-28 in overtime. Ty Zentner finished the game with a 31-yard field goal in overtime after the K-State defense stuffed TCU's OT possession from inside the one-yard line on two different plays.

K-State led the game 28-20 late in the fourth quarter but TCU tied the game with a late touchdown and two-point conversion to help send the game to overtime.

Deuce Vaughn led K-State as he ran for 130 yards and a touchdown while Will Howard threw two touchdowns.

Kansas State gets their first Big 12 title since 2012 and first outright Big 12 title since 2003.

The Wildcats close the regular season with a record of 10-3 and number nine ranking in the last College Football Playoff poll.

K-State will play #5 Alabama in the Sugar Bowl on December 31st. It will be the first ever meeting for the Wildcats and Crimson Tide on the football field.
