The ACCHS boys wrestling team won the Silver Lake Tournament this past Saturday in a field that boasted 27 teams from across the state.
The Tigers had four first-place finishers with Adler Koontz at 126, Max Bottorff at 132, Easton Schletzbaum at 150, and Bricen Lee at 165.
They added a runner-up finish from Conner Simmers at 190 along with third-place finishes from Austin Smith at 138 and Carter Page at 175.
Marysville finished runner-up followed by Ottawa, Caney Valley and Anderson County to round out the top five.
The Bulldogs posted two first-place finishes from Carter Trimble at 144 and Dakota Slupianek at 215.
Other area teams were Nemaha Central finishing in sixth, Jefferson West 11th, Royal Valley 16th, Maur Hill-Mount Academy 18th, Oskaloosa T-21st, and Riverside finished in 25th.
Other notable first place finishes from area schools included Keaton Rottinghaus of Nemaha Central at 106 and Jaxson Vice of Maur Hill-Mount Academy at 120.
