Falls City Boys Pick Up 20th Win of Season

The Class C-1, 7th ranked Falls City Tigers picked up their 20th win of the season Thursday night at Humboldt.  The Tigers beat HTRS 68-30. 

According to available records this is just the fourth time in school history the Tigers have reached the 20 win plateau.  It is the second time under Coach Don Hogue.  Falls City is now 20-3 on the season.

Jordy Stoller and Wade Witt led the Tigers Thursday with 20 points each,  Cord Huettner was also in double figures with a dozen.  HTRS was led by Kevin Beethe with 6 points,  Joel Svoboda, Eli Herr and Kaleb Knudson scored 5 each. 

In the girls game Falls City won 38 - 31.  Senor Claire Poppe led Falls City 21 points.  Falls City is now 11-12 on the year.  Mollee Sharpe scored 11 to lead the Titans.

HTRS will host Johnson-Brock Friday night in a girl-boy doubleheader.  The Falls City girls begin sub-district play Tuesday at Johnson.
