The Falls City Sacred Heart Irish came back from a heartbreaking loss in the Friday semi finals to pick up a hard fought win over top-seed Leyton in the Class D2 Boys State Basketball Tournament in Lincoln On Saturday afternoon. The final score was 57-56.

Senior Brady Cromer led the scoring for the Irish with 17 points.  Collin Niemeyer and Lane Barnhill also scored in double figures for the Irish.

Wynot, the team that defeated Sacred Heart 45-42 in the semi finals on Friday won the state title 57-53 over Spalding - Spalding Academy in double overtime on Saturday.
