Big East Football All-League Selections for 2025

The Big East League have released their All-League Selections for the 2025 season. Nemaha Central won the league title and went on to win the 2A State Championship for their third title in four years and fourth overall.

Rossville made a deep run in the 1A playoffs and lost in the State Championship game against Sterling 35-34.

Sabetha, Jefferson West, and Holton made runs into the quarterfinals of the playoffs while Silver Lake got to the second weekend of the postseason.

First Team Offense

Offensive line: Caleb McCrory of Holton, Hendryx Wahl of Nemaha Central, Holden Edelman of Sabetha, Camden Wittwer of Sabetha, and Kendrick VandeVelde of Silver Lake.

Quarterback: Carter Hajek of Nemaha Central.

Running back: Will Voos of Sabetha, and Korleone Holz of St. Marys.

Tight end: Reid Mitchell of Sabetha.

Wide receiver: Brody Schwinn of Jefferson West, and Dayne Johnson of Silver Lake.

First Team Defense

Defensive line: Osiris Unruh of Jefferson West, Danny Childress of Nemaha Central, Kyler Ganstrom of Nemaha Central, Holden Edelman of Sabetha, and Roger Browning of St. Marys.

Linebacker: Amos Brackenhoff of Perry-Lecompton, Cael Frazier of Holton, and Jack Macke of Nemaha Central.

Defensive backs: Caleb Strathman of Nemaha Central, Conner Bush of Rossville, Griffin Cumpton of Royal Valley, and Curtis Fitzgerald of Sabetha.

First Team All-Purpose was Cole Menold of Sabetha, First Team Kicker was Jayton Meyer of Sabetha, First Team Punter was Jayton Meyer of Sabetha, and First Team Returner was Owen Rottinghaus of Silver Lake.
