KNZA Broadcast: Royal Valley Girls Lead Wire-to-Wire in Win at Valley Falls

The Royal Valley girls basketball team snapped a three game losing streak on Friday night with a wire-to-wire 44-28 win at Valley Falls.

The Panthers (2-3) led 8-0 after the first quarter and 23-14 at halftime. The lead went to 33-18, going into the fourth quarter.

The offense was powered by Panno Wahwassuck and KiWe Miller. Unofficially, Wahwassuck hit five threes and finished with 22 points and five rebounds. Miller poured in 20 points and 10 rebounds.

The Dragons (0-4) couldn’t get anything going until the second quarter offensively and were led in the game by Chloe Cox with 10 points. Cali DeLong and Caydren Strickler each finished with four points while Gracie Conner added two points and 13 rebounds.
