Holton held a 26-14 lead at the half against Hayden but four fumbles and 11 penalities for 105 yards ultimately hurt Holton allowing for a 26-0 third quarter by Hayden scoring off three turnovers in that quarter. Spencer Baum ran for 148 yards on 19 carries for Holton in the loss, while Miles McClintock-Strozier added 102 yards on 12 carries with 2 TDs and Tyler Price ran for 87 yards on 19 carries with 2 TDs. Parker Zeller added a TD run for Holton.
Holton outgained Hayden 383 to 235 total yards in the contest.
