Holton despite winning the turnover battle 3-0 against Hayden in Sub-State were outgained 373-251 total yards in the contest and Hayden played ball control limiting Holton's opportunities, especially in the second half. The loss is the first home playoff loss for Holton since 2007.
Miles McClintock-Strozier ran for 104 yards on 9 carries with an 81yd TD run to lead Holton, while Spencer Baum added 98 yards on 16 carries.
Hayden had Thomas Stringer run for 105 yards and 2 TDs, while Sampson Huston tossed a 38-yard TD pass to Deshawn Hanika.
