TVL Tournament (at Washington County) - 5th place game
After a slow start to the tournament offensively the Frankfort Wildcats finish the TVL Tournament with a pair of strong offensive performances including a 57-45 win over Linn to take fifth place in the tournament. The Wildcats were scorching hot early hitting their first five threes of the game, going 7-10 from outside the arc in the first half and spread the scoring around going up 22-8 after just the first quarter and led 32-17 by halftime. Linn didn't go away as the Bulldogs posted an 18-11 third quarter to get within single digits but the Wildcats made the plays needed to secure the win. Kennan Brandt led Frankfort with a season-high 16 points earning Community National Bank "Player to Bank On" honors on KMZA, while Emilee Ebert tallied 14 points and Jessa Yaussi chipped in 12 points, helping Frankfort finish the tournametn 3-1 in action and 8-5 on the season. Linn with the loss fell to 7-4 on the year and went 2-2 at the tournament and were led by Shelby Ohlde in the loss with 16 points, while Kaitlin Ohlde scored 11 points.
