A 20-11 first quarter put Washington County up early and the Tigers led 33-23 at the half over Axtell going on to use that early lead to secure the win over the Eagles. Annie Otott led Washington County with 15 points, while Tess Cecrle finished with 11 points. Axtell was led by Anna Buessing who scored 26 points.
