Mustangs cooled off from their hot start to the season suffering their first loss of the season. Freshman, Brandi Roepke and sophomore, Kelsey Potter did continue to post double figures each tallying 13 points on the night. Valley Heights kept the game close early as it was tied at 19-19 at the half, but Republic County used a 20-12 4th quarter to pull away for the win.
