A 14-7 first quarter gave Sabetha the early advantage but the Bluejays led only 25-21 going into halftime over Hiawatha. Bluejays pushed the lead back out with a 15-6 third quarter only to see HIawatha outscore them 23-16 in the fourth and make it tight again but Sabetha held on for the win. Christian Meyer led Sabetha with 14 points, while Hiawatha was led by Joseph Kunkel who scored 14 points and Alec Elffner chipped in 11 points.
