Raiders got the best of the Bluejays in the first matchup in the rivalry this season but had to come from behind to do so. Sabetha at the half led the game at home 17-14, behind 8 first half points by senior, McKenzie McAfee who finished the game with 9 points.
Nemaha Valley used a 9-4 3rd quarter and 13-8 4th quarter to outscore Sabetha 22-12 in the second half and earn the win. Senior, Creighton Brinker tallied 18 points in the contest 14 of which came in the second half, while senior, Drew Steinlage chipped in 9 points.
