Chargers tallied their first win of the season as they took down Royal Valley in a Big Seven League matchup. Pair of juniors paced the way for Santa Fe Trail as Garrett Abel tallied 15 points and Trevor Ullery added 13 points. Senior, Tyler Shaffer added double digits on the night, too with 10 points. Chargers used a 29-16 lead at the half to earn the win.
Royal Valley was lead by Skyler Link with 13 points, while Pete Popkess added 10 points and Thomas Broxterman chipped in 8 points for the Panthers.
