Onaga led 8-0 and 14-6 early in the contest but Wetmore took advantage of 6 Onaga turnovers to earn the win. Cardinals led 26-20 at intermission and quickly in the second half went up by double figures on a 61-yard kickoff return from Joel Hutfles. Huftles finished the game with 225 yards on 24 carries with 3 TDs, while going 3-7 for 53 yards and 2 TDs. Kyler Vance ran for 102 yards on 15 carries with 2 TDs and had a 70-yard kickoff return TD. Ethan Osterhaus caught TD passes of 29 and 17-yards.
Onaga was led by Tanner Marten who ran for 289 yards on 32 carries with 3 TDs and was 6-9 for 87 yards with 2 TDs. Aaron Schwartz caught 3 passes for 84 yards with a TD, while Jaiden Kolterman had a 15-yard TD reception.
