A early special teams TD on a blocked punt and scoop and score by Noe Gauna returned 20-yards set the tone early for the Thunder against Holton as Nemaha Central worked to a 21-0 lead using a rushing TD and 45-yard pick six by Mitchell Henry. Holton made it a 10-point game at intermission as the lead was 21-11 at the half and the Thunder buckled down for the win.
Mitchell Henry had 101 yards on 22 carries with 2 TDs and a pick six to lead Nemaha Central. Holton had three turnovers and was led by AJ Haussler who ran for 80 yards on 17 carries with a TD and caught a 28-yard TD pass from Mason Strader. Jayger Carson and Dylan Aeschliman added 60 and 54 yards rushing, respectively.
