Locked at 6-6 at the half Doniphan West secured the win in the second half as Levi Watts connected with Zeb Speer for a pair of TD passes to help the Mustangs top Troy. Watts was 8-16 for 88 yards with 2 TDs, as Speer caught 4 passes for 55 yards and both TDs. Matt Buster added 60 yards on 11 carries with a 35-yard TD. Carter Jensen also blocked a punt for the Mustangs.
Troy in the loss had Kipp Jasper go 10-16 for 67 yards with TD (INT) and run for 111 yards on 18 carries with a TD. Tysen Williams ran for 105 yards on 21 carries, while Jacob Moore had a 10-yard TD reception.
