Tied at 14-14 at intermission the game would be back and forth until late in the 3rd quarter and early portion of the 4th quarter when Axtell had three consecutive scores to take a three score lead and use that to earn the win. Quinn Buessing was 9-17 for 140 yards with 4 TDs and ran for 2 more TDs. Michael Swanson ran for 149 yards on 21 carries with a TD and caught a 30-yard TD. Hunter Koch caught 6 passes for 99 yards with 3 TDs, while Mason Schmitz recovered a fumble.
Frankfort in the loss had Brandon Bussmann ran for 122 yards on 22 carries with 3 TDs and tossed a 23 yard TD to Garret Dalinghaus who had 170 yards rushing on 33 carries with a TD. Bussmann and Brian Joseph each had INTs on defense.
